Christmas Light Installation in Town and Country

When the house sits an acre off the road behind fifty oaks, the display has to carry. Ours does — from the mailbox to the ridge line.

Light that has to travel

Town and Country zoning did something quietly wonderful for Christmas: it spread the houses out. Off Mason Road and the lanes around Longview Farm Park, homes sit on wooded acre-plus lots behind long drives and stands of oak and hickory. Gorgeous in daylight. In December, though, a modest string of lights at the front door disappears completely — the house is simply too far from the road for small gestures.

So we design for distance. Bigger C9 bulbs. A roofline outline that reads across a full front yard. Trunks wrapped at the drive so the approach itself glows. Lantern posts and gate markers lit so the property says welcome starting at the street, not at the porch. It’s the difference between decorating a door and lighting a place.

The acre-lot checklist

  • Roofline in warm white C9s — sized and spaced to read from the road
  • Two or three wrapped trunks along the drive — the single highest-impact move on a wooded lot
  • Entry monuments, gate pillars, and lantern posts brought into the display
  • The entry itself — garland, wreath, urns — for the close-up view
  • Timers throughout, because nobody walks an acre in January to unplug anything
The deer will stroll through either way. Might as well give them good lighting.

Installs are clip-only and custom-cut, maintenance is covered all season, and takedown with labeled storage wraps it up in January. We’re in this pocket of West County constantly — Frontenac one day, Chesterfield the next — so scheduling is easy. (636) 244-6125 gets you a same-day quote on most properties.
