Christmas Light Installation in Cahokia Heights, Illinois

Flat, close and straightforward

Cahokia Heights sits in the American Bottom directly across the river from the city, level ground with close-set housing on a straightforward grid. Modest rooflines, small lots, houses near the street — the sort of work that goes quickly and looks good when it is done right.

Close to the street means close inspection, so the run has to be level and the spacing even. Beyond that, the front elevation carries the display: entry lit, porch traced, wreaths where they read from the sidewalk. Nothing complicated, executed properly.

What works here

• Warm white C9s along the full roofline — one clean line is the whole job on a close-set street
• The porch traced — rail, posts and header, because the porch is the face of the house
• Wreaths at the front windows — seen from the sidewalk, which is where people actually are
• Garland at the door — the arrival moment, done properly
• A wrapped tree at the curb — mature street trees do more here than another roof run

This is some of the closest work we do on the Illinois side, so install dates are easy and a repair is usually same-week. (636) 244-6125.
