Christmas Light Installation in Richmond Heights

Inner ring, older stock

Richmond Heights sits in the inner ring where the housing is older, the lots are narrow, and the architecture has detail that a careless install can damage. Brick, tile roofs, deep porches and trim worth tracing rather than covering.

Attachment matters more here than almost anywhere. Clips only, weight carried on the gutter edge, and nothing fastened into hundred-year-old wood.

Careful work on older houses

• Clip-only attachment — no staples, no screws, no holes
• Warm color temperature, because cool white makes old brick look grey
• Porch and entry work, which suits this housing better than sheer roofline volume
• Trees, since the inner ring has canopy most suburbs would envy
• Tidy crews who leave the property exactly as they found it
