Christmas Light Installation in Frontenac

Where the lots go wooded and the entries go stone, the right display starts at the street and glows all the way to the door.

The corner of quiet and evergreen

Frontenac sits at the crossing of Clayton Road and Lindbergh like it’s guarding something — and it sort of is. Behind the shops and the traffic, the streets drop immediately into deep, wooded lots where the houses are stone and brick, the driveways curve, and half the front yards already look landscaped for Christmas by about mid-November. Boxwood hedges. Mature evergreens. Carriage lanterns at the drive. The raw material here is so good that the lighting plan mostly writes itself.

Our job is to finish the picture without overdoing it. Warm white along the roofline, the entry framed in lit garland, wreaths where the architecture gives you a spot for them, and — the Frontenac special — those existing evergreens and lantern posts brought into the display so the whole approach glows, not just the house.

Where the light goes on a wooded lot

  • The entrance — gate pillars, lantern posts, and mailbox evergreens lit first, because that’s what guests see before anything else
  • The drive — a wrapped trunk or two along the curve, so the approach reads warm at night
  • The house — roofline, dormers, and the entry in one consistent warm white
  • The plantings — boxwood and foundation evergreens dressed evenly, never dumped-on

Everything is commercial-grade, cut to fit on site, clipped without a single fastener into stone or mortar, and run on timers. We maintain it through the season, take it down in January, and store it labeled at our facility — the same full cycle we run everywhere from here to Ladue and Town and Country.

Guests should feel the house before they see the door. That’s what an entrance done right does.
