Christmas Light Installation in Nashville, Illinois

A square town, a long way from a streetlight

Nashville is the Washington County seat, out east where the metro is well behind you and the country takes over. It has a courthouse square, settled residential streets and farm ground running out in every direction.

Around the square, frontage lit properly changes the whole block for December. On the residential streets, older porches and simple gables want one warm run and nothing else. On the farms, the display starts at the gate — markers, a wrapped tree, and outbuildings lit where they earn it.

What works here

• One warm-white run, evenly spaced — with nothing competing, restraint reads best
• The porch line picked out — most houses here have one worth showing
• A wrapped tree at the front — doubles the display without touching the house
• Wreaths and garland at the door — the finishing touch, not the whole plan
• Timers and mid-season checks — so it is lit every evening without you thinking about it

Nashville is at the eastern limit of our regular map and gets grouped into set weeks. Booking in summer means you choose the date, not the leftovers.
