O'Fallon is the largest city in St. Clair County and it grew the way a lot of the Metro East grew — outward from Highway 50 and the I-64 exits, subdivision by subdivision, with Scott Air Force Base keeping a steady stream of families moving in and out. The result is a town of predominantly newer housing: two-story homes with brick or stone fronts, deep garages, and rooflines that get complicated fast once you add a bay, a bonus room over the garage and a covered entry.

Green Mount Road and the streets that feed off it are where most of the newer building happened, and those houses are big enough that the front roofline alone runs to hundreds of linear feet. That is the main reason people here stop trying to do it themselves after one December spent on a ladder in the cold.

What we actually hang here

A typical front here has more linear feet than people expect, so we measure it before quoting rather than guessing from a photo. Runs are cut to the house, clipped to the right edge for the material, and set on a timer at install. Where a peak is genuinely too high to reach safely, that is a lift job and we say so up front instead of skipping it and leaving a gap.
